Please view our past events and point opportunities here Austin Vietnamese American Medical Professional Society (AVAMPS) is having their 24th annual health fair for over 300 underserved individuals. ​​ Saturday,  Oct. 12 8am-12pm They are looking for high school students to volunteer during the event 4 event points (Take picture of you at the event to get verified for points) 3 Positions Available Stand at the the entrance of the building and key areas in the cafeteria with hand sanitizers and offer face masks for participants to use Escort health participants from one area to another area within the cafeteria. Stationed at the CPR, basic first aid, and nutrition booth. These areas require the student to engage with participants. Students do not need to be CPR certified ​St. David’s Field Trip Learn more about trauma injury prevention and teen safe driving October 9th 9am - 1pm Trip includes: Impact Teen Driver presentation a mock trauma in the ER an impact session with a victim/family an ambulance tour Lunch (most likely Chick-fil-A) provided We have roughly 35 spots available. The sign up form will be on a first-come, first-served basis! St. Jude's Walk/Run​ Register today to help cure childhood cancer. Sign Up to Volunteer + Link to Donate  PB & J Drive ​​ Starts September 20th - ends October 18th To uphold tradition, we are going to be bringing back the peanut butter jelly drive competition against Stony Point HOSA (winner gets trophy)  Donate jars of peanut butter and jelly (All donations will be proceeding to the Round Rock Serving Center) Every set of 2 jars (2 peanut butter, 2 jelly, 1 of each) is going to be 1 donation point Drop off donations to room 2308 Take a picture of your donation and send to one of the parliamentarians to verify points ​​Fall Leadership Conference - Saturday, October 26th 8am-3:45pm@ McNeil High School an event for prospective and current HOSA members, which serves as a motivational tool to showcase all the opportunities HOSA offers. ​ Sessions may include one or more of the following: Becoming an Officer Team Building Tourniquets/Stop the Bleed Medical School Panel SPOTS Presentation Resilience Training Suturing Phlebotomy Mental Health HOSA BOWL 35 spots available. The sign up form will be on a first-come, first-served basis! *There is a $10 fee to come (covers breakfast & lunch) DO NOT PAY until you are confirmed a spot Sign Ups Closed Spirit of Giving Letter to Parents (with details) HOSA will be involved in the Spirit of Giving. We are sponsoring two children for the holiday season. We have been assigned to siblings: A male (9) and a female (10). PLEASE label each gift  with the number of our child! Our team, Rally For a Cause, is hosting a raffle where 1 ticket will be $3, 2 tickets for $5, and 8 tickets for $10 The prize will be a $100 gift card of your choice, and the winner will be announced through our instagram @rally.for.a.cause on Friday 12/06/24   If you want to pay in person (during the meeting), we accept cash, card or apple pay (using the QR code) If you want to pay online, scan a QR code or click the link in our insta bio.
